Every microservice at the company I work for runs on several IIS servers behind a load balancer, and no connection can be opened to those servers from inside. Restarting an application meant logging in to each server by hand. Maestro turns that into one operation: a small agent on every server calls home, and an operator recycles an application’s pools across the fleet from one screen, one server at a time, each step behind a health check, with an approval and a record of who did what. The screenshots show demo data, not the company’s servers.
Servers are grouped by fleet: who is online, CPU, memory, disk and the agent’s version, at a glance.
An operation walks the fleet one server at a time and shows its progress, its approval and its result; a failed step stops the rest.
A stopped pool, an agent gone quiet or a full disk reaches the team by email, and a watchdog restarts pools that stopped by themselves. Recycles can also run on a schedule, and reports keep the record.
Çalıştığım şirkette her mikroservis bir yük dengeleyicinin arkasında birden fazla IIS sunucusunda yayında ve bu sunuculara içeriden bağlantı açılamıyor.
